Ronald Lester, MD
is an Internal Medicine and Family Medicine specialist serving patients in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. He sees patients 18 years of age or older at Kokoro Health & Wellness, located in Dallas, Texas. He is a home visiting physician and can also provide virtual telemedicine appointments. Dr. Lester’s areas of specialization include chronic care management and transitional care medicine.
Dr. Lester completed his Bachelor of Science in biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He graduated with honors from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville. He then completed his internship and residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
Following his medical training, Dr. Lester worked in a variety of health care settings providing hospice care, home visits, and transitional care. He has over 23 years of experience in the medical field, and looks forward to meeting new patients and helping them feel stronger and healthier.

Jessica Nguyen, DO
is a board-certified family medicine physician working closely with Kokoro Health & Wellness patients 5 years of age or older. She's been in the field for over nine years, focusing primarily on preventative medicine.
Dr. Nguyen has always been an advocate for patient self-awareness and education. She completed medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, emphasizing the holistic approach to medical care and focusing on what modern-day medicine can provide.
She then completed her family medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Rotating at Parkland Dallas County Hospital and the UT Southwestern Clements Hospital gave Dr. Nguyen an excellent background in complex chronic medical care and care for the underserved population, arming her with tools to provide the best care for her patients.
Dr. Nguyen loves building a rapport with patients to provide a place for them to feel safe for questions about anything that concerns their physical or mental well-being. She takes pride in her family and community-based medical roles while prioritizing evidence-based medicine. Dr. Nguyen's philosophy focuses on doctor-patient communication and doctor-patient-based medical decisions.
While she has an American upbringing and education, Dr. Nguyen has strong ties to the Vietnamese-American community in the Greater Dallas area. She enjoys seeing patients of all backgrounds and welcomes Vietnamese-speaking patients.
